NRFA Division Two League : Meet Kasalgu Arrow heads Most Promising Star, Faisal Dele Zakhi.

Faisal Dele Zakhi is the hottest rising star of Tamale based Division Two Side, Kasalgu Arrow Heads Fc. The 16-years old Right/ Left Winger is one of the quickest wingers you can mention in the just ended Northern Regional Division Two League. He is very quick running with the ball and for the ball.

‘Star Boy’ as he is affectionately called was the center of attraction for his side in the Division Two League. Though his club, Kasalgu Arrow Heads FC got exited in the group stages, the young pacy Winger managed to bagged in 5 goals in seven matches.

He has the ability to play in all the attacking positions such as Right Wing forward, Left Wing forward and Center forward. However, he prefers to play as a Right Wing or Left Wing due to his desire to run and dribble pass defenders to create scoring opportunities for his team mates or even score by himself if need be. He is occasionally used as Center Forward and is able to deliver to expectation. Dele Faisal is the very agile and slippery who always sneak into the opponent’s goal area in no time.

It feels great and lovely to watch Faisal play. Those that watch him play always find it difficult to hide their love and admiration for him. Some football people have already seen him as a great asset for clubs and the youth national teams.

It is not strange in the Northern Region here for young players of his age to be in the limelight. Just a year ago, 16 year old Abdul Fataw Issahaku was making headlines for his exploits in the Afcon U-20 Championship in Mauritania and is already with the senior national team, the Black Stars.

Faisal Dele Zakhi is poised to follow the footsteps of Abdul Fataw Issahaku. His desire to play in the countries colours has been a motivational factor for his unstoppable performances.

Speaking to sportsmrnews.com, the young player admitted that some Division One League clubs, two from Zone One and one from Zone two are showing interest in him but he refused to mention names.

“Am happy that I have cought the eyes of some Division One League clubs in Ghana, two from Zone one and one from Zone Two. For their names, I will keep that to myself for now. This means that my performance so far is impressing. I will continue to do more for more opportunities.” Dele Faisal said.

Kasalgu Arrow Heads Fc is owned by Dr. Michael Ayamga, a lecturer of University for Development Studies, UDS, Nyankpala Campus. Dr. Ayamga has been very supportive in football development in Northern Region and beyond. He has a lot of football players under his belt, both females and males. His benevolence in football in the region is second to none.
