Kumbungu District Football Association’s clubs representatives unanimously confirmed the Chairmanship of the incumbent, Alhassan Iddi Manzah.
The event took place on Tuesday, 10th November 2020 at the Kumbungu DA Primary School.
Representatives from each of the eight (8) Division three clubs, 12 Juvenile clubs, 6 women clubs and 2 from the players association were present for the confirmation.
Forty four (44) candidates from Northern Region were certified by the Ghana Football Association to contest for the supplementary election.
Alhassan Iddi Manzah during his first term in office, established 12 third division clubs, brought together to rivalry Communities ie Dalung and Kumbungu and also intensified Juvenile registration in the District. He again brought on board Regional Referees Association to officiate matches in the district and absorbed 90% of the cost.
The District Chairman, who is also a CAF Licensed ‘A’ holder in coaching inspired several youth into obtaining coaching certificates.
Alhassan Iddi Manzah is the current Chairman of the Northern Regional Women’s Clubs Association and also the Vice Chairman of the Northern Regional FA Women’s Committee.
Speaking to sportsmrnews.com, Alhassan Iddi Manzah thanked the Electoral commission for conducting a smooth election and also expressed appreciation to all the clubs in the district for the confidence they have in him.
“I will like to use this opportunity to appeal to the Regional football Association to generate codes for our 3rd division clubs as clubs in the district lose players to other District because of lack of Codes.” Iddi Manza said.

Meanwhile, the Regional suplimentary election will take place on 13th November, 2020.
Alhassan Alidu Alhassan is cleared to contest for the Referees Slot at the Northern Regional Exco while Nassam Mohammed going in for the vacant coaches Slot.
