Northern Ladies duo, Abdulai Mukarama and Alhassan Rafia put up 5-star performances for their Respective Colleges in the Opening Matches of NJCAA Competition in USA.
It was an interesting opening game for Abdulai Mukarama and Alhassan Rafiatu as they both scored for their school teams in the 2021 NJCAA soccer Competition. Abdulai Mukarama scored two goals for her college and Alhassan Rafia also scored the only goal of her side.
Rafiatu’s School, Navarro College suffered a 3:1 home defeat to Abdulai Mukarama’s side, Tyler Junior College.
In the last edition of the NJCAA, USA Abdulai Mukarama ended the competition as the top scorer with 19 goals.
Speaking to sportsmrnews.com, the head coach of Northern Ladies Fc, Coach Basiru-Deen Sumani expressed his delight to hear that his players scored all the 3 goals in the match and also performing very well. According to him, both players are making him proud and Northern Ladies Fc as a club. He believes that the players will continue to do well for their various colleges in this year’s NJCAA Soccer Competition.
“Am happy for them. They are making me proud and Northern Ladies as a club. I don’t doubt their abilities to do well. They will continue to do well for their various colleges” – Said Coach Basiru-Deen Sumani.
Alhassan Rafia is the captain of her school, Navarro College in this year’s competition and the college is looking up to her to guide them win this year’s NJCAA competition.
