N/R WDOL: Bagabaga Ladies Face Nasara Ladies in a Fierce Encounter.

The 2023 great performers in the Northern Regional Women’s Division One League, Bagabaga Ladies play as visitors to one of the title contenders, Nasara Ladies in a fierce encounter on Wednesday, 8th March, 2023 at Kalandan Park.

Bagabaga Ladies are still unbeaten in the eight matches played so far in the league and are favorites going into the Wednesday’s encounter owing to their fine form in the league.

 

 

The “Keep the Hopes Alive” ladies have been doing very well by scoring much more goals than the concede. Aside winning matches and scoring more goals, they have been playing beautiful football as well. The head coach, Mohammed Nurudeen Sham-Una, CAF License ‘B’ holder has injected more strength and power into the team. The style and pattern of play of Bagabaga Ladies Fc can now be seen easily by spectators.

One player to watch is their free scoring striker, Halimatu Mbamba who is on top form and scoring more goals. She is currently the lead goalscorer in the ongoing division one league.

 

 

The match is expected to be tough as Coach Osman’s Nasara Ladies will not leave any stone unturned. Nasara Ladies can also boast of striker, Abdulai Bintu who can score from any angle.
They beat Bagabaga Ladies in the final match of last Women’s Unity Cup in Walewale, though Bagabaga Ladies Fc also beat them in the group stages.

Statistics of both clubs in the ongoing Women’s Division One League.

The home side, Nasara Ladies played 8 matches, won 6, drew 1 and lost 1. They scored 15 goals and conceded 10 in the process and are 3rd on the league Log with 19pts.

The visitors, Bagabaga Ladies Fc on the other hand also played 8 matches, won 7 and drew 1. They scored 27 goals and conceded only 2 and are first on the table with 22pts.
