N/R: Students in Yendi to benefit from Alhaji Faruk Sports scholarship
The member of Parliament for the Yendi Constituency, Alhaji Faruk Aliu Mahama in partnership with isign2play sporting company has secured a scholarship package for footballers within the Yendi Constituency.
The Principal aim of this scholarship program is to open up an opportunity for students who wants to play football to the higher level but lacks the means to do so.It is also one of the strong pillars he has envisioned to help build his New Yendi City agenda.Football is one of the key areas he plan to use in archieving the NYC objective.
As Education is the sure way to building a strong nation, this scholarship program goes with education which aims to provide the individual with the intellectual knowledge he desires for.
Requirements for the scholarship package:
1. Video highlights of the student playing football
2. A full match video of the student playing football.
3. For secondary school scholarships the students current terminal reports are needed
4. For secondary school graduates their WAEC results are needed
5. For university students their current transcripts are needed
Applicants are to submit the above requirements to the office of the MP for proper assessment.
