N/R: Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association Inaugurated
Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association was inaugurated on Saturday, 17th October, 2020 at the Assembly Hall of Tamale Senior High School, Tamasco.
In attendance of the inaugural ceremony were :Northern Regional Football Association’s Chairman, Alhaj Abu Hassan Rhyzo, the Regional P. E Coordinator, Mr Sandow Apanya Sule, P. E Coordinator for Sagnarigu Municipality, Haruna Ganda, Northern Regional Women’s Committee Chairperson, Hajia Zelia, Presiding Officer for Sagnarigu Municipality, Mr Abdul-Salam Abubakari and some Municipal/District Football Association’s Chairpersons including Tamale Metro, Tolon District and East Gonja. 
In the inauguration, 10 executive council (ExCo) members were sworn in by NRFA Chairman, Alhaj Abu Hassan Rhyzo. They included :

The Chairman of the Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association, Mr Dauda Ibrahim used the opportunity to outline the achievements of Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association including the players that have come from the Municipality and have made it big in football.
Speaking in the inauguration, the Chairman of Northern Regional Football Association, Alhaj Abu Hassan Mahamadu Rhyzo cautioned the executive council members against lackadaisical working attitude in their line of duties. He advised them to always be committed to the work.
Alhaj Mohammed Nurudeen Zakaria Olumba, former Secretary for Northern Regional Football Association was the Chairman of the inaugural ceremony who chaired the occasion to a successful end.
