N/R: Northern Region Juvenile Committee Starts Registration Exercise with Yendi Municipality.
The Juvenile Committee of the Northern Regional Football Association starts the registration of Juvenile players on Saturday, 3rd October, 2020 with Yendi Municipality. A three member delegation from the NRFA Juvenile Committee was in Yendi for the registration exercise. The delegation was made up of Mr Alhassan Yakubu (Chairman, NRFA, NRFA Juvenile Committee), Mohammed Nurudeen Sham-Una (Member, NRFA Juvenile Committee) and Issahaku Azey (Member, NRFA Juvenile Committee).
A total of eight (8) Juvenile clubs in the Municipality availed themselves for the registration as follows:
1.Young Great
Amphibians Fc
2. Bilchiinsi Fc
3.Yendi United Babies Fc
4.Yendi Soccer Lions Babies Fc
5.Yendi Young Stars Fc
6. Youn Yendi Soccer Heroes Fc
7. Young Sankara Nationals Fc
8. Mion All Stars Fc
The registration exercise took place in Yendi town, Gbungbaliga and Sambu. Over 500 Juvenile players were registered. The figure included U-13, U-15 and U-17.
The Chairman of Yendi Municipal Football Association’s Juvenile Committee, Mr Safianu Abdul-Latif expressed his delight to have the regional Juvenile Committee in his Municipality for such an important exercise. He thanked the NRFA, especially the Juvenile Committee for the wonderful job they are doing for Northern Region and promised that his outfit will emulate them.
However, information reaching sportsmrnews.com indicates that Sagnarigu Municipality will be next for the registration on Tuesday, 6th October, 2020.
