N/R : Northern ladies Fc Support Fc Savanah in Their Quest to Make it into the Ghana Women’s Premier League.

Fc Savanah is preparing adequately for the Women’s Division One Sub-Middle League scheduled to start on Friday, 8th October, 2021 at Aliu Mahama Stadium, Tamale. The club won the Northern Regional Women’s Division One League in a grand style paving way for them to represent Northern Region in the Sub Middle League.

On Thursday, 7th October, 2021 at Aliu Mahama Stadium, Northern Ladies Fc donated 11 cartons of bottled mineral water to the Club to help them in their quest to qualify to the Ghana Women’s Premier League, 2021/2022 season. The donation was done by a delegation from the club made up of the club’s Deputy CEO, Abubakari Yussif, Head Coach of the club, Sumani Basiru-Deen, Team Manager, Mr Ibrahim Iddrisu as well as the club’s media officer, Mumuni Abdul-Mumin.

Speaking on behalf of the CEO of Northern Ladies Fc, Dr Iddrisu Yahaya after the donation, the Deputy CEO, Abubakari Yussif, affectionately called Van Der Sar stated that Fc Savanah is going to fight for a third slot for Northern Region in the Ghana Women’s Premier League and ought to be supported in diverse ways for the ambition to be fulfilled, hence the need for all and sundry in the region to come out and support them. That’s why, according to him Northern Ladies have come out to support them in that small way. He called on other benevolent individuals and organizations in Northern Region to also come out in their numbers to support Fc Savanah.

On Wednesday, 6th October, 2021, the Chairman for Northern Regional Football Association, Alhaj Abu Hassan Mahamadu Rhyzo also donated 10 cartons of bottled water plus cash amount of Ghc 1,000 to Fc Savanah to enable them fair well in the Sub-Middle league.

Fc Savanah opens the Sub-Middle league with a match against Kumasi based Dynamite Ladies on Friday, 8th October, 2021 at 10:00am.
