N/R : Kasalgu Arrow Heads Maintain their Away Unbeaten Record with 1-1 draw Against Real Galaxy Fc.

Kasalgu based Division Two side, Kasalgu Arrow Heads Fc keeps their away unbeaten record intact after holding fellow Zone 2 top spot contenders, Real Galaxy FC to a 1-1 draw at Kalandan Park on Saturday, 23rd April, 2022. The fast rising division two club is yet to taste defeat away from home in the ongoing Northern Regional Division Two League. A very remarkable performance in the division two league. The sharp arrows are on the verge of making it to the next stage of the competition.

Kasalgu Arrow Heads Fc, recently founded and managed by a Senior Lecturer at University for Development Studies (UDS), Dr. Michael Ayamga just lasted for two-three years and have already created a bigger and better brand for themselves. Though the club could not qualify to the sub-middle league of the Division Two Competition last season due to technicalities, they were able to create a fear-factor in the team which has kept them performing magic this season.

The poacher boys have played 15 matches so far in the league and have lost just one match. They won 11 matches and drawn 3, scoring 32 goals, the highest number goals scored by a single team in the ongoing league and conceding only 8 (24 net goals). Currently, the club sits first on the league log of Zone 2 with 36pts.

Dr. Michael Ayamga’s attitude towards the technical team and playing body in terms of motivation is another factor behind the club’s good performance.

Fc can boast of quality players including Ziblim Firdaus, Agyemonto Jonas, Dele Faisal Zakhir, Emmanuel Agyemang, Abdul-Rahaman Yussif, Yakubu Abdul-Salam, Abdul-Haq Ibn Tauhir and many others.

The club’s next encounter is against the very close top spot contenders, Tamale Zaytuna Fc on Wednesday, 27th April, 2022 at their home ground, Nida’ul Islam Primary School Park, Kasalgu. Another home match follows which is against Northern Arsenals before they end the preliminary stage with Shooting Stars Fc in Nyankpala.
