N/R: Jakpa Keep fit Club Inaugurated in Damongo
Northern Regional Chairman of Keep Fit Clubs Association, Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim has ask members of the Jakpa Keep Fit Club (JAKFIT) to be committed and pay their dues regularly
According to the Chairman, regular payment of dues will help the club carry out its activities successfully and also help train instructors for the club.
Alhaji Mohammed made this statement in Damongo, the Savannah Regional capital during the inaugural ceremony of JAKFIT on Saturday, 21st November, 2020.
The Vice Chairman of National Sports for All, Ghana, Alhaji Ibrahim, pleaded with JAKFIT members to desist from backbiting and politics at keep fit grounds, saying that politics can disunite such groups since members are drawn from different political backgrounds
On his part, Chairman of Tamale Keep Fit Club (TAMFIT), Alhaji Baba Seidu, prayed for a more collaboration between TAMFIT and JAKFIT and urged the newly inaugurated executives to be transparent with members when it comes to finances of the club
Also at the ceremony were regional representatives from the Peace Council and the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE)
They emphasized on the adherence to the COVID-19 safety protocols, and the need to maintain peace before, during, and after the December polls
The ceremony was chaired by Chief Dramani Kipo, Asst. Headmaster in charge of Administration, Damongo Senior High School
