Tamale Zaytuna Fc, a juvenile club in Sagnarigu Municipality received support from their former players, Israel based Ashdod left back, Muntari Kamaheni and Portugal based Estoril Praia Striker, Yakubu Abdul-Aziz. The duo partnered to give the boyhood club 10 footballs, 2 sets of jerseys and 2 sets of bibs. The presentation was done by the players themselves at the club’s training grounds, Tamale Technical University Park in the Sagnarigu Municipality.
The presence of the two players at the training grounds, not just the presents made the younger players very excited, motivated and inspired. The club’s U-13, U-15, U-17 and 3rd Division players of Zaytuna Fc could not hide their joy to see their seniors who have made it to Europe visiting them at their training grounds. They interacted with them and took pictures with them.
Tamale Zaytuna Fc is owned by the current chairman of Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association, Ibrahim Dauda. The club has produced several players who are making it in football. Notable among them are David Abagna, Ibrahim Bashiru, Issahaku Abdul-Fataw and the two players who have just supported the club, Muntari kamaheni and Yakubu Abdul-Aziz.
