In line with the GFA Refereeing requirements, all class two Referees, Potential Referees and Catch Them Young Referees will on tomorrow Saturday 21st August, 2021 undertake their mandatory exams to be qualified for certification and promotion.
The GFA earlier this year introduced the Catch Them Young Refereeing program, which was to equip both Young boys and girls within the ages of 16 years the skills and potentials to learn refereeing at a tender age. This the GFA believed was going to help when the various Leagues begun. All prospective Referees are to converge at the Dagbon State Senior Technical School in Yendi to take part in the exams.
Referees from Kpandai, Wulensi, Bimbilla, Zabzugu, Saboba and Yendi are to report to the Exams center to participate.
The exams will offer those with Class three to gain promotion to Class Two, and those at the Potential stage also gain promotion to Class three. Catch Them Young Referees will also received their Lincence after passing the exams.
Saturday’s exams shall be the first set of three, and it shall be based from Law 1 to Law 4 of the Laws Of The Game.
The other remaining Laws will be captured in the subsequently exams.
The Exams is scheduled to begin at 9:30am at the Dagbon State Technical School in Yendi.
