N/R : Congratulations to Fc Savanah for the Stylish Qualification into the Ghana Women’s Premier League – CEO of Northern Ladies, Dr Iddrisu Yahaya.
On behalf of the management team, the technical team and the playing body of Northern Ladies Fc, the CEO of the club, Dr. Iddrisu Yahaya sends a congratulatory message to Fc Savanah for making it into the Ghana Women’s Premier League in a grand style. Fc Savanah ended the Northern Regional Women’s Division One League with only one defeat and went ahead to win the Division One Sub-Middle League, Northern Zone unbeaten. Northern Region, Tamale to be precise can now boast of three Women’s Premier League Clubs ie Northern Ladies, Pearlpia Ladies and Fc Savannah.
Qualifying along side Fc Savanah is Dreamz Fc. The Kumasi based club will now be the fifth Women’s Premier League Club in Kumasi. Techiman based Fosu Royal Ladies were also tipped to qualify
but failed to do so.
Dr. Iddrisu Yahaya was excited to see Fc Savanah performing magic in the Women’s Sub-Middle League championship and quickly congratulated them and wish them well in the Ghana Women’s Premier League.
“Wow! Am so so happy for Fc Savanah. Congratulations to them. I wish them well in the Ghana Women’s Premier League. They did a fantastic job, thumbs up to them” – Dr Iddi said.
The CEO added that the qualification of Fc Savanah should be a welcoming news to everyone in the football fraternity especially the two Women’s Premier League Clubs in Tamale here. According to him, having three clubs in Tamale means a lot to the good people of Northern Region. He stated that having three clubs will reduce the traveling expenses and also increase the chances of getting Women’s Premier League Champion in Tamale.
“Fc Savanah’s qualification should be a great news to everyone in the football family in Northern Region especially the two women’s clubs in Tamale. It will reduce our traveling expenses and also increase our chances of getting Women’s Premier League Champions. So we should all welcome them with opened arms ” – Dr. Iddrisu Yahaya added.
Before the start of the Division One Sub-Middle League championship, Dr Iddrisu Yahaya’s Northern Ladies supported Fc Savanah with bottled water and called on everyone in Northern Region to also support them in diverse ways to qualify. Thankfully, the dream is now a reality.
However, Dr. Iddi cautioned Fc Savanah not to be over complacent as life in the Premier League may be different. He called on the club to prepare very well towards the 2021/2022 Women’s Premier League.
