N/R : Black Stars Defender, Baba Rahaman Donates Football Items and Cash to Boyhood Club, Young Meteors Fc.
Black Stars Full Back, Baba Rahaman has made a donation of football materials and Cash Amount to his boyhood club, Young Meteors Fc, a Juvenile Club within the jurisdictions of Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association, Tamale.
The items donated to Young Meteors Fc included 2 sets of customized jerseys with 32 pieces each, 2 sets of stocks (hosts) with 45 pairs each, 30 footballs and cash amount of Ghc 7000.00.
The presentation was done on Thursday, 13th October, 2022 at Sakasaka Injection Park by his elder brother, Alhaj Sulemana Baba. Alhaj Sulemana stated that his younger, Baba Rahaman is donating the items to the juvenile club as part of his support to keep the smooth running of the club. He added that his brother, Baba Rahaman is always already to give back to the society what the society gave him.
The founder and CEO of Young Meteors fc, Alhaj Abass Bawa received the donation on behalf of the management of Young Meteors Fc and thanked the skilful left back for his continuous support to the club. According to Alhaj Abass, Baba Rahaman always support the club without any call from the club, and that Young Meteors Fc is always proud of him and will forever be grateful to him. The founder and CEO prayed for the Reading Fc’s full back and wished him best of luck in his football career especially, in the coming World Cup to be staged in Qatar next month.
Baba Rahaman is a player of Chelsea but on loan at English Championship side, Reading Fc. He is a regular player for Black Stars and could play significant role for Coach Otto Addo’s Black Stars in Qatar 2022 World Cup.
