N/R : Al Ettifaq Midfielder, Saaka Faisal Eyes Black Satellites call up.
Ghanaian born Al Ettifaq Midfielder, Saaka Faisal is hopeful that he gets a call up to play for the Ghana National U-20 team, the Black Satellites.
The 19 year old Tamale born defensive midfielder who plays for Al Ettifaq Makaba FC in Bahrain was instrumental as he helped them to finished 3rd in the Bahrain division two league, something that never happened in the Club’s history.
But their dream of playing in the first division next season was shutted as they were knocked out during the playoffs.
Despite their inability to get to the first division, Saaka Faisal’s
inputs in this showdown was not overlooked. He was awarded a plaque by the club for his extraordinary work during the season.
The workaholic midfielder took to his Facebook wall to express his excitement after receiving the accolade.
He is currently on holidays in Tamale. In his interaction with sportsmrnews.com, the young talented Midfielder could not hide his desire to represent Ghana at the U-20 stage and subsequently the Black Stars.
Faisal’s counterpart from Tamale, Abdul Fataw Issahaku has been making headlines after playing for the Black Satellites during the U-20 Championship in Mauritania earlier this year for which Ghana won the ultimate.
Saaka Faisal is very hopeful of making headlines too once he gets the opportunity to represent Ghana.
The former Tamale Ac Milan and Tema City player also touched on his dream of moving to Europe and hopes to play in the German Bundesliga.
