Mohammed Nurudeen Sham-Una has officially stepped down from his role as Assistant Coach of Division One League side Real Tamale United (RTU), citing personal reasons for his decision.

His departure marks the end of another chapter in a growing coaching career, though it may also signal the beginning of a new opportunity. Speculation is rife that the promising young coach is being considered for the Head Coach position at newly promoted Division One League side Sankara Nationals. There are also strong rumors linking him to Tamale-based Division Two outfit, Steadfast FC.

Coach Sham-Una, a CAF License B holder, boasts a wealth of coaching experience across various tiers of Ghanaian football. He has served in different capacities in the Ghana Premier League, Division One and Two leagues, the Women’s Premier League, Women’s Division One League, and the Juvenile League.

In addition to his club duties, he currently serves as the Head Coach of the Tamale Technical University Men’s Soccer Team. Over the years, he has worked with clubs including Yendi Gbewaa FC, Bagabaga FC, Victory Stars, Tamale Super Ladies FC, and Bagabaga Ladies FC, among others.

His departure from RTU opens up speculation about his next move, and football fans in the Northern Region will be keenly watching to see where the experienced tactician lands next.
