Mohammed Kudus completes medical ahead of €42m move to West Ham

Ajax and Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has completed his medical ahead of his move to English Premier League side West Ham United. He arrived in London on Saturday to undergo his medical.
The 23-year old midfielder has performed remarkably well for Ajax in the just ended season which has linked him to some top clubs in this transfer window. Chelsea, Brighton & Hove Albion had also reached a preliminary agreement to secure his services earlier this month but West Ham United won the bid.
West Ham negotiated a transfer fee of €41.5 million, with an additional €3 million in potential add-ons, while Ajax will retain a 10% sell-on clause.
Kudus joined Ajax in 2020 from Nordsjaelland, signing a five-year deal and in April he turned down a contract extension setting stage for his exit. He has been in exceptional form, scoring 17 goals in all competition last season. In the buildup to this season, Kudus has already scored 4 goals and providing one assist.
