Latest News: Former Player of Real Republicans Fc Donates Sports Wears to the Club

A former player of one of the oldest and successful Juvenile Clubs in Northern Ghana, Tamale Real Republicans Fc, publicly known as REPS, Mr Siiba Mohammed has donated sports wears to the club as his contribution towards the growth and development of the club. The donation was made on Wednesday, 19th October, 2022.

The sports kits include six(6) sets of jerseys with 20 pieces each and a set of traveling wear (track-suits) with 20 pieces. The donation was received by a managing member of the club, Mr. Alhassan Yakubu Dawuo.

 

Speaking to sportsmrnews.com, Coach Alhassan Yakubu Dawuo on behalf of the management and board of directors of Real Republicans Fc expressed their delight and appreciation for the kind gesture by their proud son, Mr. Siiba Mohammed. He thanked the talented former player for giving the club such massive support and called on him for more as and when it is necessary.

 

Mr Siiba Mohammed started his football carrier with Tamale Real Republicans Fc (Reps) in the late 80s and was the Top Scorer (Goal King) in the maiden edition of the Milo Championship staged in Kumasi in 1994. He was selected by the regional football association for Tamale Metro assembly to go and participate in the Sister Citi Championship in Louisville, USA in 1994. He again ended the competition as top scorer and overall best player.

Mr. Siiba Mohammed

 

Tamale Real Republicans FC was Regional Champions of Northern Region U-17 Championship, 2022 and represented the region in the 2022 KGL U-17 Inter-Club Championship in Accra. They returned to Tamale with silverware as they ended the competition as runners up.
