Juvenile Football : West Gonja Municipal Juvenile Football League to Commence Soon.

The West Gonja Municipal Football Association will start the Municipal Juvenile Football League on Saturday, 12th June, 2021.

Five (5) teams from in and around the municipality will be taking part in the U-17 league competition

Pro Stars Fc and Young Heroes Fc both from Larabanga, Canteen Young Stars Fc from Canteen, Savannah Youth Fc and Busunu Micro Boys from Damongo and Busunu respectively will be taking part in a double leg competition on home and away basis in two (2) arounds

The competition is slated to start from Saturday, 12th June, 2021 and end in September

Savannah Youth Fc will take on Pro Stars at the Dagrico park in the opening game while Canteen Stars will host Young Heroes of Larabanga in the next fixture on Sunday, 13th June 2021

Juvenile football is the backbone of every football nation and has been dormant in the country for sometime now. The GFA in April 2021 launched a campaign to revitalize the competition.

The move is hoped to unearth talents at the grassroot for the national teams
