Steadfast FC’s Alhassan Siisu earned Black Stars “B” call up.

Tamale Steadfast forward Alhassan Siisu has earned a call up to the Black Stars “B” team for their upcoming national assignment.

The attacker finished the division one league season as the top scorer of Zone One with 16 goals, provided 7 assist in 27 matches played.

Notable among his outstanding performances this season was a hat trick in their 4-1 victory over Kintampo FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
He also bagged another hat trick against City rivals Real Tamale United also at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on match day 28.

Siisu was able to see off a fiest competition from Bofoakwa Tano’s rocky hunter Welbeck Takyi and Ansu Kofi Patrick of Berekum Arsenals who both finished closely with 14 goals each.

Siisu’s call-up has been expectant as he carried the team on his shoulders in the absence of teammate Abdul Fataw Issahaku who was seriously engaged on national team’s duties.

Forty-three players have been invited as the Black Stars ‘B’ team commence camping ahead of their upcoming assignments.

The invited players are expected to report to the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on Wednesday August 4.
