JUST IN: BABA RAHAMAN, Black Stars and PAOK FC’s Left Full-Back Donates Football Equipment and Materials to Nasara Ladies FC
Black Stars and PAOK FC’s left full-back Baba Rahaman has made a generous donation of football equipment and materials to Nasara Ladies FC, a Northern Regional Women’s Division One League club. The donation was presented at the club’s training ground in Tamale.
The in-form full-back contributed 20 footballs, 4 sets of jerseys, 4 sets of bibs, markers, hoses, cones, and a cash amount of GHC 2,000 to support the club’s efforts in securing qualification to the Ghana Women’s Premier League.
The presentation was made by Baba Rahaman’s elder brother, Alhaj Sulemana Baba, and his friend, Thuram. The items were received by the club’s Team Manager, Mr. Alhassan Yeboah, with the club’s management also in attendance.
The technical team and players expressed their gratitude and excitement, assuring Baba Rahaman that the equipment would be put to good use in pursuit of their goal. They promised to repay his generosity by securing qualification to the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League in Ghana.
In addition, the players made an appeal to Baba Rahaman to assist the club in constructing an AstroTurf for better training conditions. They shared concerns about the current training pitch, which has led to both short- and long-term injuries.
Baba Rahaman, known for his philanthropic efforts, has been a strong supporter of children’s football and education in the Northern Region.
