JUST IN : Abdulai Iddrisu Expresses gratitude to Bechem United

Former Bechem United Goalkeeper, Abdulai Iddrisu has expressed gratitude to his former club after joining Tanzanian side Azam FC

In a Facebook post on Saturday, January 7, 2023, Abdulai Iddrisu said, he had never dreamt of playing for a unique club like Bechem United. He thanked everyone who works at the club

” I want to profoundly thank everyone who works for this club which makes it special, management board, the technical team, teammates and most iconically the supporters

 

I will like to also thank the club president who I affectionately recognized as my father. May Allah almighty richly blessed you in all ramifications”. Abdulai Iddrisu is quoted to have said in the post”

 

 

The 25 year old joined Bechem United during the 2020/21 season, and made his debut in February, 2020 against Accra Great Olympics

He was in superb form for the Bechem United last season where he played 31 games and kept 18 clean sheets conceding only 18 goals. He was adjudged the best Goalkeeper in the Ghana Premier League at the end of the 2021/2022 season after helping Bechem finish 3rd in the league and also playing in the MTN FA Cup finals

 

In the 2022/2023 campaign, Abdulai played 8 matches for the club and managed to keep 3 clean sheets and conceded 5 goals.

In total he played 47 games for Bechem United and kept 26 clean sheets

He earned a call up to join the Black Galaxies and has being part of the team that qualified Ghana to 2022 CHAN tournament since 2014

Abdulai Iddrisu was part of the Black Galaxies team in Egypt preparing for the CHAN tournament in Algeria

He left the Black Galaxies’ camp to signed a two-year contract with
Tanzania Premier League side Azam FC
