In form forward for Zanwara FC, Abubakari Abdul Shakun has assured the teaming supporters of Division Two Side, Zanwara Fc that he would fire the club into the 2021 Division One League this year.
The former Tamale CFC player is currently the hottest striker you can find in the ongoing Northern Regional Division Two League.
He has already bagged in seven goals in six outings for the club owned by the Northern Regional Football Association’s Chairman, Alhaji Abu Hassan Mahamadu Rhyzo.
The 17-year old prolific scorer has been a nightmare for defenders since the league begun a couple of months ago.
His exploits so far has seen him raid defends upon defends, compelling several defenders to openly confessed how difficult it is to play against the young lad, Abdul-Shakun.
He has since led Zanwara FC to the Sub-Middle League stage in the ongoing Northern Regional Division Two League. He scored a brace in their opening Sub-Middle league match against Gangdu FC on Friday 10th September, 2021.
In an interview with a reporter of sportsmrnews.com, Mr. Abdul Mumin Mumuni, the forward gave a strong assurance that he would fire Zanwara FC into the 2021/2022 Division One League.
The young Abubakari Abdul-Shakun is an attacker with great qualities. He has a great pace that enable him to take on defenders at the flanks on one-on-one situations. Admirably, his dribbling skills cannot be overemphasized which makes him able to meander his way through when surrounded by many opponents. He is a good asset for Zanwara Fc and Ghana at large.
