Real Tamale United have secured a vital 1-0 win over Accra Hearts of Oak SC in their Premier league Match Day 16 encounter at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The only goal of the match came from a former Hearts of Oak player, Umar Abdul Manaf to give the Pride of the North the three maximum points.
RTU after creating so many chances in the first half could not put the ball behind net. It was goalless at half time.
The tactical substitution of coach Baba Nuhu Malam forced opened the defence of Hearts of Oak, paving way for the long distance shot from the young Ghanaian midfielder Manaf Umar with his left foot to give RTU the goal.
Real Tamale United are placed 7th on the log with 24 points whiles Hearts of Oak SC are 5th with 25 points. RTU will make a trip to Kumasi on Sunday to face King Faisal.
