Black Stars Coach C.K Akunnor has given two late call up’s to Salifu Ibrahim and Richard Arthur all from Hearts of Oak.
Salifu Ibrahim has just recently moved to the Capital club in the second transfer window. He has been in a tremendous form all so far and it will be understandable if he is given a call up to the senior national team.
He won five player of the month award this season while he was with Techiman Eleven Wonders.
Richard Arthur too has also been good for the Phobians and his penalty save against rivals Kotoko was a master class. This is the second time he is been given a call up since C.K Akunnor took over.
Earlier today, the Black Stars Coach dropped 13 players from the squad including leading scorer of the league Diawisie Taylor.
The Phobians duo are expected to join the rest of the Black Stars squad as they prepare for the Afcon qualifiers double header against South Africa and Sao Tome.
Coach C.K Akunnor is expected to name his final squad tomorrow.
