Heart of Lions Coach Salifu Fatawu Expresses Satisfaction in Team’s Performance Against RTU
Salifu Fatawu, the head coach of Heart of Lions, voiced his contentment with his team’s performance during their recent clash against Real Tamale United (RTU) in a Ghana Premier League fixture on Sunday. The match, held at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, ended in a 2-2 draw between the Kpando-based Heart of Lions and the Tamale-based RTU.
In a post-match interview, Coach Salifu Fatawu shared his thoughts:
“Since the start of the league, our team has consistently performed admirably in all our matches. I wasn’t surprised to witness the great effort put in by my players today.”
“It’s worth noting that we did score but also made a few mistakes in the goal area, allowing the opponent to capitalize and share the points with us.”
“I must emphasize that, tactically, I’m not disappointed in my players,” added the coach of Heart of Lions.
As things stand, the Volta Region team remains undefeated in the three matches they’ve played, amassing three points out of a possible nine.
Looking ahead, Heart of Lions is scheduled to host Bofoakwa Tano at the WAFA park in Sogakofe for their next fixture in the Ghana Premier League.
