According to reliable sources the sector minister Hon. Mustapha Ussif telephoned the hierarchy of the National Sports Authority to rescind their earlier decision to closed down the Accra Sports Stadium for maintenance and allow the game involving GPL table leaders Hearts Of Oak and Medeama SC to come on.
Their action earlier caused the matchday 29 clash between Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC to be called off temporarily.
The reports gathered by sportsmrnews.com have it that The National Sports Authority has made a swift U-turn and rescinded their decision to shut down the Accra Sports Stadium for maintenance and renovation works in the middle of the Ghana Premier League season.
This means the game between table-toppers Hearts of Oak and fourth-placed Medeama SC will come on as scheduled.
Kick off time remains 18:00 GMT.
