Ghana’s next “Abedi Pele” is Abdul Fatawu Issahaku – Ghana U-20 WC winner, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu
Former Asante Kotoko and Black Stars midfielder, Emanuel Agyemang Badu has heaped praises on AFCON U-20 MVP, Abdul-Fatawu lssahaku labelling him as the new Abedi Pele.
The 17 year old has been hitting the rocks since the start of 2021 football season which has necessitated his continues promotion from the youth national teams to the senior national team, the Black Stars.
He won the 2021 AFCON U-20 MVP when he powered the Black Satellites to win the 2021 AFCON U-20 Championship in Mauritania.
Agyemang Badu could not hide his admiration for the young talented boy. He thinks that a brighter future holds for the former Tamale Steadfast Player. The powerful left-footer is currently with Dreams FC on a short term loan.
“He is a wonderful chap, Very confident” Agyemang Badu told Starr FM.
“I watched his game against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium and he is an excellent player who has all the qualities. We just need to guide him well and if we do that think we are getting the new Abedi Pele in Ghana” added the China-based star.
