Ghanaians will make a U-turn if Black Stars beat Nigeria to qualify for the World Cup- Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo
Chairman for the Northern Regional Football Association, Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo in an interview with journalist during the Unveiling of Squad and Launching of Great Amphibians FC social media platforms in Yendi, which he was the special guest of honor, believes the love for football in Ghana has not gone lost and that contrary to the notion that many Ghanaians have lost taste for football isn’t all that true.
According to the veteran football administrator, football is loved by Ghanaians and is the most talked on radio, TV and even on social media.
“Well contrary to that notion, I believed there’s still a lot of interest in football, the fact that everyday you open radio stations, you go on television, you go on social media and football dominates tells you that there’s still interest in football.
Ghanaians are worried because currently the Senior National Team [Black Stars] is not given us the results that we want, but let’s beat Nigeria and qualify for the World Cup, there will be a U-turn all over” – Alhaji Rhyzo said.
He also spoke on the need for clubs to brand their teams on social media as it will go along way to marketing both the club and players to the whole world.
