“Gbewaa FC Sacked me with a phone call from Agahowa”- Coach Sham-una
Former Yendi Gbewaa FC coach Mohammed Nurudeen Sham-una has confirmed that he was sacked from the club together with his assistant Sualihu Shafiw through a phone call from Sayibu Nantogmah popularly called Agahowa who is the club Administrator.

He confirmed this on his Facebook wall with the caption”I was sack from Gbewaa FC with a phone call from Agahowa”.
Their time with the club did not bring out the best of results as a result of some managerial problems, players not getting food to eat and as a result refused to come for training, he also worked with some limited number of players and sometimes during their matches, they will have to call and beg some players to join them at the match venue because their number won’t be up for selection.
The Gbewaa FC team is currently been handled by its former Coach Danjummah, who took over in their match against Techiman City. Many of the issues are still not address and as a result;
They are currently languishing at the bottom on 16th place, with eight points and has a 13 goal deficit.
The young experience coach Mohammed Nurudeen Sham-Una has worked with Real Tamale United (RTU) as Assistant coach before. He is also a former coach of a Division two side, Victory Stars. Before his appointment, he was the head coach of Tamale Future Stars, also a division two Club in Tamale.
Earlier in his coaching career, coach Mohammed Nurudeen Sham-Una coached Bagabaga FC, a colts club in Sagnarigu, Tamale and Bagabaga Ladies FC, women’s division one club, also in Tamale. He is currently the head coach of the Tamale Technical University Men’s football team.
The young vibrant coach holds CAF License ‘B’ certificate, GFA Five Year Development Coaching License and UK Tackle Africa Grade ‘A’ License.
He is currently without a club but hopes to be back to the field when an opportunity come knocking.
He is a well known and respected coach in the Region. He works with NTV and Sankara radio.
This has attracted several comments from well wishers.
