FRANKFURT CITY SUPPORTS NORTHERN REGION REFEREES WITH WATER DONATION
In a commendable act of community support, Frankfurt City, a newly promoted division two league side based in Tamale, has extended a helping hand to the Northern Region Referees Association. On the 1st of December, 2023, Frankfurt City donated 20 bags of sachet water to aid the Northern Region Referees Association during their ongoing 2023/24 refresher course at the Tamasco field.
Mr. Moses, representing the management of Frankfurt City Academy, expressed his joy at witnessing referees actively engaging in both practical and theoretical sessions. He wished the referees the best of luck in the upcoming season, emphasizing the importance of their role in the football community.
The Northern Region Referees Manager, A.A Alhassan, conveyed gratitude on behalf of the referees, acknowledging Frankfurt City Academy’s thoughtful gesture. He assured the academy that the donated sachets of water would be put to good use, contributing to the overall success of the refresher course.
The refresher course, which commenced on Wednesday afternoon, featured comprehensive activities for the participating referees. Examinations were conducted on Wednesday, testing the referees’ knowledge and understanding of the game. Thursday morning brought insightful lectures on the laws of the game, followed by a rigorous fitness test in the evening at the Tamale Senior High School field.
The course, designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of the referees, is scheduled to conclude today, Friday, the 1st of December, 2023. Frankfurt City’s support not only provides essential resources but also exemplifies the spirit of collaboration within the football community, fostering a positive environment for the growth and development of the sport in the Northern Region.
