Frank Lampard’s Chelsea needs to beat Leicester and Fulham to keep his job as manager of the club.

Premier League pair Ralph Hasenhuttl and Brendan Rodgers are both among the five-man shortlisted managers who could replace Frank Lampard if the going gets thaugth for Chelsea.

Pressure keeps mounting on Frank Lampard who has seen his side slip out of title contention.

The club owner, Roman Abramovich invested so much in the summer with the club spending more than £200m on new signings.

One win in six games over the past month however has seen Chelsea lose pace and dented their top four ambitions.

Lampard’s side currently sit in ninth – ten points off the summit – and the player turned manager will be all too aware of Abramovich’s lack of patience.

As a result five men have been identified as potential replacements.

If one of these men were to lead Chelsea next season as manager who would you choose?

– Thomas Tuchel
– Massimiliano Allegri
– Brendan Rodgers
– Ralph Hasenhüttl
– Julian Nagelsmann

Leicester’s Rodgers has the Foxes sitting in third place this season having narrowly missed out on the top four last term.
His attractive style of football will no doubt be plus while Hasenhuttl continues to overachieve with Southampton.

The Saints recently saw off Liverpool and sit three points ahead of the Blues.

Ralph Hasenhuttl and Brendan Rodgers have both performed impressively
Options are also being considered from abroad with the recently sacked PSG boss Thomas Tuchel heavily linked.

The German’s immediate availability will no doubt be a plus and that is also the case with Massimiliano Allegri.

Allegri though has a stellar CV with Serie A titles in Turin and Milan. He would bring with him a more pragmatic approach but that may be what a young Chelsea side needs.

One man used to working with young players is Julian Nagelsmann who has performed wonders at RB Leipzig.

His stock, especially in Germany, is particularly high and the 33-year-old has been tipped for the top.

Lampard is Chelsea’s 10th permanent manager in Abramovich’s 18-year ownership of the club.
