Former Yendi Gbewaa Ladies player and now at Bagabaga Ladies, Fatawu Rashida given a call up to the Female U-17 National team
Bagabaga Ladies FC left back Fatawu Rashida has been given an invitation to the Female U-17 team for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
The young talented left back was a regular starter for Bagabaga Ladies FC as they placed second in the Northern Regional Women Division One League last season.
Her ability to drive forward with the ball and send in accurate crosses to her attackers has made her a threat for opposition defenders. She is also a good dribbler with so much adorable skills in her left foot.
In as much as she is good in attacking, Rashida also has the ability to anticipate danger when not with the ball and make timely tackles to intercept balls.
She is a product of Yendi Gbewaa Ladies FC and the club will be proud to see her in the national colours as she happens to be the first female player to have eve achieved that.
She is expected to join her colleagues in preparation for the World Cup qualifiers.
