N/R : Muta Sports Academy Organized Rehearsals Ahead of The Justify Your Inclusion Exercise.

Muta Sports Academy is here in the Northern Region to help little talents realized their dreams of playing football to the higher level.

For this reasons a first trial session was organized on Saturday 6th March 2021 at the Northern School of Business park. The trials session was meant to sort out players of different abilities and group them into Elite and Developing.

The Elite group comprises of those who showed signs of having the ability to control the ball with ease, ball distribution skills and those who could dribble and also score when it matters.

The participating players were of different age groups, that is U-7 , U-10, U-13 and U-15.

Majority of them were from Tamale while others came from far places like Nakpali in the Zabzugu district, Bimbilla, Yendi, Gbungbaliga just to mention a few.

The facilitators lead by Ariff Maulaya took their time to instill in the boys what they were expected to do once the trials begin.

They started with the U-7 and U-10 group, by putting them to a five a side and also using cones to demarcate where they were going to be playing. They selected those with skills on passing, controlling and scoring abilities as the Elite group, and those with challenges were taking into the developing group.

For the U-13 group, they were divided to ten a side with goal keepers, it was a half field for which cones were used to earmarked the other goal post. Through their passing, defending, ball control and their scoring abilities, they were also categorized into both the Elite and Developing groups.

The final trial session for the day was the U-15 category, for them they played a normal football using the whole field, players were also categorized into Elite and Developing groups as per their performances.

In the end they were told to go home and come back on 27th March for the final trials session. They were also told the C.E.O for Muta Academy Mr. Mohammed Mutawakil together with his partners in the UK shall be present to grace the occasion. That day shall be the final selection day, and those fortunate to be selected shall be the first starters of the Muta Sports Academy.

Mr. Ariff Maulaya who by profession is a fitness coach did an exceptional work to make sure the event was a success. He always joked with them to ease tension on them as it was the first time many of them were participating in such events.
Coach Anas Nasiru Gani was the center referee making sure all rules of the game was abide to by the boys, he was also showing them when and how passes needed to be delivered.

Other team members includes Mr. Issah Mohammed Iddrisu who in the end also thank parents and coaches for making sure they came with their wards to the event and also staying behind to watch all that unfolded, he said it was the first time in the region they witness such a thing.

Abdul-Moomen Salim was also one of the facilitators, he also helped in the selection process, making sure the right materials were selected, he was also keenly monitoring the boys as they all show off their abilities in the field.

Ahmed Ghali was also exceptional in his work.

In the end food was given to the boys to eat and also some group pictures and videos were taken.

Kwaku Oduro of Kesmi fm also grace the occasion, Mr. Nurudeen Sham-una who is a former Coach of division one club Gbewaa fc and also a media man was also there, Coach Bannerman of Yendi Sankara Nationals also came with his boys.
The coach of Bindo Stars in Bimbilla was also there to grace the occasion.

In the end it was a successful event as the event organizers did a wonderful job in making sure everything went on according to schedule.

The camera men also did a marvelous work by making sure everything about the event was captured on Camera.
