Female Referee in Critical Condition from Physical Assault by a Coach

Coach assault Female Referee who is in Critical Condition

 

A female Referee, Abdul Rahman Sakina Nasara in a critical condition at Tamale Technical University Hospital as a result of a physical assault she suffered on Saturday. The incident occurred when she was officiating Women’s Division 1B League Match in Tamale as a center referee.

 

The perpetrator of the assault, Iddrisu Napari, publicly known as Coach Kubli got upset and lost control over himself when he was cautioned for decent by Word and by Action. The coach angrily took away the yellow card from the Referee and started hitting and kicking her like an animal. The action led to the referee losing her breath. She was then rushed to Tamale Technical University Hospital for treatment where she is still there receiving treatment. But report reaching sportsmrnews.com indicates that the Referee is still in a critical condition.

 

RFA and RAG, Northern Region have taking the matter up seriously and have vowed to make sure that justice prevails.
