FC Young Queens Win protest case against Kumbungu Soccer Ladies

The Disciplinary Committee of the Northern Regional Football Association has declared FC Young Queens winners of the the protest case brought before it against Kumbungu Soccer Ladies FC.

 

FC Young Queens protested against Kumbungu Soccer Ladies for failing to continue their match day 10 between the two teams which is contrary to Article 33(1)(b) of the Regulation.

 

In their statement, FC Young Queens stated that Kumbungu Soccer Ladies FC presented only Seven players for the match and in the course of the match, the goalkeeper got injured and could not continue the match. They pray the Committee to award them 3 points and 3 goals in accordance with Article 33(1)(b) of the Regulation.

 

The Disciplinary Committee in their ruling award 3 points and 3 goals to FC Young Queens and 3 points and 3 goals deducted from Kumbungu Soccer Ladies accumulated points. The team is also fined GHC600 of which 50% will be to FC Young Queens and an additional GHC200 to aid FC Young Queens transportation.
