DTL: Publish the Findings from Your Investigation on Match Fixing Allegations Against Us – FC Tamale to RFA, Northern Region
Northern Regional Division Two Club, FC Tamale has officially written to the Northern Regional Football Association demanding the publication of the match-fixing allegation labeled against the club.
It can be recalled that, after the last Sub-middle league match between FC Tamale and Real Galaxy which ended 8-0 in favour of Real Galaxy Fc, the regional Football Association commissioned an investigation into the match with the view that the match was a fixed match.
Information gathered by sportsmrnews.com indicates that the match officials for the match in question were invited and questioned and also the Head Coach of FC Tamale was also invited and questioned by the Regional Football Association investigative team.
The Regional Football Association has directed that Real Galaxy Fc and Tamale Soccer Angeles Fc to engage in a playoff match to decide who join Kasalgu Arrow Heads Fc to qualify for the Middle League from the Zone since the two teams tie in number of points and head to head.
FC Tamale in a letter dated 8th June, 2022 request that the FA makes it public the match-fixing allegations against the club. The club is also questioning the rationale behind the investigation team inviting the Head Coach without writing officially to the team.
