High flying Zanwara Fc striker, Abubakari Abdul-Shakun was adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the Match between Zanwara Fc and Savelugu Yoo Fc in the ongoing Regional Division Two Middle League at Aliu Mahama Stadium, Main on Friday, 24th September, 2021.
The 17-year old attacker caused a lot of problems to the defenders of Savelugu Yoo Fc with his usual dribbles and runs in the goal area of the Savelugu based division two club. Agility, skills, speed and strength are the common features of the former Tamale CFC player. Most defenders in this year’s Division Two League will never want to face Abubakari Abdul-Shakun again because of his ability to traumatize defenders from the blow of the Whistle to the end of the Match.
Abdul-Shakun scored eight goals in 9 matches this season so far, helping Zanwara Fc to make it to the Middle League stage of the competition.

Speaking to sportsmrnews.com few weeks ago, the most promising player assured fans of his club, Zanwara FC that he would fire them into next season’s Division One League. However, the young chap has already cought the eyes of some Premier League and Division One League Clubs. Abubakari Abdul-Shakun when given the necessary attention, support and guidance will be one of the greatest assets to Ghana Football.
His team, Zanwara Fc takes on Sankara Nationals Fc in the ongoing Division Two Middle League on Saturday, STK Stars on Sunday and rup it up with Tamale Dreams FC on Monday.
