DOL: Tamale City records a 2-1 win against Bofoakwa Tano to top the table with 20 points

A 2-1 win for Tamale City helped them to climb top of the division one league table after ten matches played so far.
Coach Hamza Mohammed side haven’t taste defeat since their famous 1-0 win against bitter city rivals Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on match day five.

Tamale City impressive run has helped them to top the table with 20 points after ten games. Today game was poised to be tough as the table leaders were to play a side that has been consistent in the league for the past two years.

Goals from Prince Amankwa and Sam Ortis helped them to record that most important win against Bofoakwa Tano whose Striker Welbeck Takyi draw blank for a third consecutive game running.

Coach Hamza Mohammed will be impressed with the win, it truly shows what the Tamale club wants to do in the league this year.

They have managed to beat two of the current top four teams, having beaten RTU and Bofoakwa Tano, they also drew 1-1 against Berekum Arsenals at the Golden City Park.

Tamale City had a player sent off early in the second half, but they kept their composure to win the game.
