DOL: TAMALE CITY ENTER THE NEW YEAR, 2021 WITH A NEW BRANDED TEAM BUS
Tamale based division one league giants, Tamale City Football Club has acquired a 35-seater Hyundai bus for the club’s operations.
Tamale City FC was the first Division one club in Northern Region to acquire a team bus but lost ownership of the bus to Real Tamale United (RTU) when their former bankroller, Dr. Nashiru Issahaku left the club to join the city rivals.
As part of the preparation towards the 2020/2021 division one league season, the club has acquired a new team Bus to ease traveling difficulties that resulted from losing the team Bus.
The C.E.O of the club, Mr. Jones Alhassan Abu, made this known to the club supporters on the club’s official WhatsApp page.
“Good afternoon, members of the family. On behalf of the leadership of our club and on my own behalf, I wish you all a happy, joyous and prosperous 2021. On such an auspicious occasion, I’m pleased to announce to you all the realization of a wish you all as well as our gallant players have for so long wished for, which is for the club to acquire it’s own team bus. By the kind grace of Allah subhaana wa ta’aalaa, that dream has materialized in the form of a 35-seater Hyundai bus, branded in our lovely, radiant gold colour.”
“In view of some notable constraints, we have had to buy a used bus which we have thoroughly rehabilitated and rebranded in our colours for use by the team this season, so that by next season when, in shaa Allah, we’ll be campaigning in the Ghana Premier League, we plan to acquire a luxurious, well-equipped team bus. In the next few hours, the bus should be in Tamale. Thank you and happy new year to you all once again. The National Division one league is scheduled to start on 8th January, 2021.
