They then lost 1-0 against their City rivals Tamale City FC, at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale on match day four. They lost their last game away to Mighty Royals who are also doing well in the league with only a point behind them now.
Coach Shaibu Tanko’s men will have to up their game this week in order to accommodate the striking force of Arsenals. The Tamale club has not been doing well interms of scoring and this is something the coach will have to focus his attention on, knowing that a defeat on Thursday will live them hopeless in their bid to return back to the Premiership.
They will also hope hope to welcome back their striker, Yakubu Labandow who since his goal on match day one against Kintampo FC has not been able to play for them due to the injury he sustained in that game.
The coach will be hoping the young man returns in a good form on Thursday.
There’s also been some signings for his team and could have a positive impact on how they perform in the league.
