The Pride of the north have lost only one of their last six Division One League matches, which has accumulated them an eleven points putting them fourth on the league table.

They won their Opening three matches of the season before losing on match day four to City rivals Tamale City FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports stadium.Since then they haven’t won any of their match again, drawing to Nsoatreman FC and also drawing their last game against Techiman City at home.

Coach Shaibu Tanko’s side will look to come back to winning ways on Sunday, 14th February 2021 as they played as visitors to Paga Crocodiles Stars at Paga in the Upper East Region.

The teams spirit has been resurface by the return of Yakubu Labandow, who had a knock in their first game against Kintampo FC, the striker was on the score sheet that day, the coach will be happy for his return and will count on him to salvage them from their current situation.

The Crocodiles on the other hand haven’t had the best results they hoped for, but they will be happy for their six points so far after they drew their Opening two matches of the campaign and subsequently winning one and drawing another.

They were hammered four goals on match day four by Nkoranza worriors and they won’t want a repeat of that today. Six points from their opening six games of the season is not a bad thing for them, especially when they know they are not to challenge for the Premiership slot.

A defeat in their last game means that they will try to avoid another defeat today at all cost if they will want to still be in the competition next season.

So it will be a tough contest and RTU are looking forward to having a nice game at Paga.
Real Tamale United are very much determined to return to the Premier League and so will try to play with all their might in this game today.

For RTU to make it into the premiership, they must be consistent in winning, just as Berekum Arsenals are doing now. A mistake in one game can cause you a whole season.
