Real Tamale United continues their fine away form as they picked up all three away points against Unity FC.
It was a tough game for the northern blues with the home side making it difficult for them.
Coach Shaibu Tanko’s men needed a win to capitalize on the Berekum Arsenals 0-0 draw with Bofoakwa Tano. And with Unity FC holding on to their lead, RTU needed to make a come back in other to win the game.
The long wait was over when Mustapha got the equalizer to ease the tension on Tanko’s men.
It wasn’t long when Mustapha double his tally to give his side the lead.
Finally they picked up another away win to continue their fine form away from home.
Elsewhere at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Gbewaa FC recorded their third win of the season as they beat Paga Crocodiles Stars by 2-0.
The win over their relegation counterparts lift them from bottom of the table to 15th position with 11 points.
Coach Danjummah’s side will be so happy they ended the first round with a win, and will hope to make a strong fight to enable them survive relegation.
