Current leaders of the Zone one league table, Steadfast Fc shall play as visitors to neighbors Tamale City in what will be termed as a defining moment for the future of both clubs in their bid to qualify to the Premier League.

Both clubs has been outstanding this season, playing an incredible football to the admiration of their fans and lovers of the game.

Steadfast go into that game tomorrow at the back of a 2-1 win against Nkoranza worriors at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on match day 11, with that in mind it will be a boost for Mohammed Gargo’s men knowing that a win will stretch their lead at the top of the table.

The team has been in a sensational form this year even in the absence of their star man and best player in the just ended U-20 Championship in Mauritania, Abdul Fataw Issahaku, the team has managed to win matches which has kept them where they are now.

It is not clear if Fataw will be played tomorrow or rested, but in case they decide to play him, it will be a huge obstacle for Hamza Mohammed side to win against their local rivals.
If the sensational forward is paired with the league second leading goal scorer, Alhassan Siisu it will be a formidable attack which Tamale City’s wabbling defense will find difficult to dealt with.

For Tamale City FC they have also been in a great form this season, though they had a poor start to the season they still managed to get their rhythm and composure, which has help them to accumulate 20 points from eleven games, they trail the leader with only two points.
They have only lost once in their last seven games in the league, beating RTU, Bofoakwa Tano, Mighty Royals and playing a 1-1 draw against Berekum Arsenals away from home.

Though they lost their last game before this game today, Hamza Mohammed boys has been clinical against the best teams in the league. Their game tomorrow will be something they can’t afford to lose and so will try all their possible best to win the game or atleast played a draw, but to lose won’t be an option for the Cityzens.
A win for them could temporarily send them to the top of the table depending on the results of other game centers.

To win a derby game a team must play with all your might, your full concentration and to also defend your clubs badge from shame.

This even explains why Tomorrow’s game will be one in a million, it is not only to defend the badge of the club but is to offer each of them the opportunity to win and still be in contention for qualification to the Ghanaian topflight.

The game is likely to end in a draw as both clubs possesses the strength to win the game.

The team to win the bragging rights tomorrow will be the one with full concentration, good tactical approach and the zeal to fight to the end.
