DOL: Ghana Prodigy Abdul Fatawu Issahaku returns with a hat trick
Abdul Fataw Issahaku made the headline again today at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium with a hat trick against Nkoranza worriors.
The Matchday 25 of Ghana Division One Zone One match between Steadfast fc and Nkoranza Warriors produced six goals with Steadfast fc banging in 5 goals leaving Nkoranza Warriors a consolation goal.
The African U-20 MVP award winner was unstoppable against the Worriors with a first half brace. He scored in the 5th minute and then double his tally through the penalty spot in the 17th minutes.
He then complete his hat trick in the 69th minute of the second half.
Mohammed Sheriff and substitute Alhassan Siisu got a goal each in the second half to end the game 5-1 in favor of the home team.
Issahaku Abdul Fatawu total tally for the season now stands at 11 goals with six assist and seven MVP awards.
Fataw has been making the headlines since the start of 2021 with his exploits in the U-17 WAFU Zone B tournament in Togo earning him a call up to the U-20 side, he then earned a call up to the Black Stars after helping the Black Satellites to win the Afcon U-20 Championship in Mauritania, which earned him the MVP award of the tournament.
He is now one of the few players to have played in all the national teams including the U-23 which he scored a wonderful Freekick against Azerbaijan.
The talented kid is yet to make his debut for the Black Stars.
Steadfast FC win today has pushed the team a step closer to the top of the league.
With only five goals to end the Ghana Division One League, Fataw’s 11 goals has put him on a pole position to challenge for the top scorer gong.
