DOL : Coach Abu Hanan Releases 20 Man Squad for his Maiden Match as Head Coach of Steadfast FC.
The new coach of Steadfast FC, Coach Abu Hanan has released a 20 man squad for his maiden match as Head Coach of the Club, Steadfast FC. Steadfast FC opens the season’s campaign with a home match against the Upper West Giants, Wa Suntaa Fc on Saturday, 1st October, 2022 at Aliu Mahama Stadium. The former coach of Berekum Chelsea has released a very strong squad for the encounter. The squad includes some new players that were brought in the team by the new tactician.
sportsmrnews.com sites the list on social media posted by the club’s Media/Brand Officer, Musah Abdul-Rahim, affectionately called ‘Ramzy’. Speaking with the Media/Brand Officer, it was revealed that the list contains injury-free players, and that all the 20 players are available for selection into the starting team of the match. The officer added that the playing body is 100% ready for the encounter and just waiting for the encounter at 3pm today.
“All the players in the Match Day squad are injury-free. All are available for selection into the starting team. We are just waiting for the Technical Team to come out with their first eleven any moment from now.” – Musah Abdul-Rahim, Ramzy.
“We are sure of victory today. The fans should just come to the stadium in their numbers. We would surely put smiles into their faces. All the players and the officials are ready for the match”. The media officer added.
Coach Abu Hanan is an experienced coach haven coached Guan United (now, Tamale City) and Glory Stars (now Nkorunza Worriors) in the same division. He has also coached in the country’s top flight football before. He coached Berekum Chelsea and Ashgold SC in Ghana Premier League. He is expected to guide Steadfast FC to victory in the maiden match doubled as the season’s opener.
Earlier this week, Steadfast FC unveiled the newly signed players as well as the customized official kits for the new season. The name of the players shall be seen at the back of their jerseys.
