Ghana U-20 star Abdul Fataw Issahaku returned to league action for Steadfast Fc with a hat trick against Wa Suntaa SC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.

Fataw who was the center of attraction during the Afcon U-20 Championship in Mauritania, has been in a scintillating form which has earned him a call up to the Black Stars and the Black Stars B teams.

Fataw’s hat trick today was his sixth goal in the current campaign in five games. He previously scored three goals in three matches before his trip to Mauritania with the U-20 team.

His performance in Mauritania was unmatchable as he scored two and provided an assist which help Ghana to lift the trophy for the fourth time. He also earned himselve the MVP award for his great work.

Steadfast won the game by 4-0 over Wa Suntaa SC who are currently battling for relegation survival. The win today will see them temporarily occupy the top spot as Berekum Arsenals will also be in action in a tough contest against Bofoakwa Tano on Sunday.

Steadfast fourth goal was scored by Alhassan Siisu whose tally will also now moved up to eight goals. He is currently the leading scorer in the team.

Coach Mohammed Gargo will be happy for Fataw’s return as he hope to guide them to their maiden qualification into the Ghanaian topflight.
