Devoid of money in this critical part of the season: Coach Shafiu sends advice to R.T.U Players

Chairman of the Juvenile Clubs committee in the Kumbungu District, Sualihu Shafiu has admonished the players of Real Tamale United to take advantage of the great opportunity they are having now to qualify the team back to the Ghana Premier League, instead of trying to used the club for money.

He believes qualifying for the Premiership is currently the ultimate and more money will come to the players there after.
The pride of the north right now are in a serious battle with Bofoakwa Tano and Berekum Arsenals for the only Premiership slot in Zone One.
They are second on the table with 53 points playing a game less. Bofoakwa Tano after their narrow 1-0 victory over Relegation battlers Paga Crocodiles on Saturday pushed them up to the top of the table with 55 points and Berekum Arsenals on 3rd with 50 points.

RTU will have to beat B. A United today to dethrone Bofoakwa Tano from the top of the table and there after prepare for their final three games against Steadfast FC, Yendi Gbewaa FC and Unity FC.

He made this known to sportsmrnews.com as players usually try to used circumstances like this to asked club management for either unpaid allowances or unpaid winning bonuses.
“There are more monies awaiting them in the future should they managed to qualify the team back to the Premiership. Clubs in Europe will come for many of them which will set the tone for them to gain riches” He said

“It might not always be what they want to hear, but sometimes it needs to be said and I assure you I have their best interests at the forefront of what I do” Coach Shafiu continues

Real Tamale United since their relegation in 2013 has not been able to make a return, and this season is been their closest ever, which they are trying to utilize these once in a lifetime opportunity.

Mr. Sualihu Shafiu is also the C.E.O of Kumbungu City Football Club.
He is a passionate sports personality in the region and has been busy trying to promote Juvenile football in the Kumbungu District.

Real Tamale United will have to win all their remaining four matches to assure themselves as the undisputable Champions of Zone One, which will give them the go ahead to make a return to the Ghanaian topflight after 8-years of absence.
