Confirmed: Northern Ladies complete the signing of Abigail Amor from FC Savanna.
Just few days after news circulated on social media that Northern Ladies were closed to signing FC Savannah and Black Maidens Midfielder, Abigail Amor, it has finally been confirmed. Abigail is now a player for Northern Ladies. The club confirmed the news in their official Twitter Account.
“Welcome to the Northern Ladies family, Abigail Amor. We can’t wait to see you in our next Match”.
The midfielder is the third signing Northern Ladies has made so far in this transfer window. They previously signed Amenyeku Afi from Super Ladies who was in fine form on her debut against Supreme Ladies and had made some two dangerous saves to prevent Supreme Ladies from scoring.
Another signing they made was the signing of Krampah Lydia from Hassport Ladies who also made her debut against Supreme Ladies which Northern Ladies won by 1-0.

Northern Ladies are beefing up their squad to challenge for the title. The addition of Abigail will form a midfield trio with Yakubu Adamu and Doris Afafa, these two midfielders have been doing well for Northern Ladies all season and it will do them good if a more physical and energetic midfielder like Abigail Amor is paired with them.
Abigail is very energetic which has made it easier for her to win balls from her opponents. She is also good at using her strength to block balls out of the reach of her opponents.
Abigail Amor is a specialist in handling the ball. She is accurate in distributing the ball to her colleagues, very perfect passing skills and just to top it all, her ability to send long range passes to attackers have made her a worry to opposition coaches.

The midfielder has already undergone the mandatory Covid-19 test and will be available for Northern Ladies away trip to Techiman to take on current League leaders Ampem Darkoa Ladies on Saturday, 6th March, 2021.
Coach Basiru-Deen Sumani can’t wait to have a quality midfielder like Abigail in his team making it doubtful to delay her from making a debut against Ampem Darkoa Ladies as there are fewer games for them to play.
They currently has nine points, meaning statistically they are trailing Ampem Darkoa Ladies by seven points, which is quite big, they will play with all their might to closed that gap.
It is going to be a difficult test for coach Basiru-Deen Sumani girls, but who knows what Abigail is planning to do for Northern Ladies on her debut game.
