CAF Confederation Cup: Asante Kotoko to travel to Algeria with a chartered flight

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will jet off to Algeria for their CAF Confederation Cup play-off second leg against ES Setif on Sunday, 21st February 2021, Opemsuo FM has reported.

Reports earlier indicated that the team was struggling to raise money for the trip to the North African side.
However, Kumasi-based radio station has reported that the team have made preparations for the trip and they will leave Ghana today.

Remember Kotoko are expected to make a comeback when they fly to Algeria to play Es Setif after losing 1:2 at home against the Algerian giants.

The team is expected to undergo the Covid-19 test when they touched down in Algeria, as CAF has made it mandatory before every match begins.
The return fixture is scheduled on Sunday 21st, February, 2021.
